  This was the worst experience I ever had with this white man who was the public defender that I talk with here in Bennettsville, SC. I walked in and said Hi...he never spoke to me he automatically became very mean and I was trying to ask him questions so I can better understand the process because I never been through this before and he harshly told me he did not want to hear what i had to say and then he took the papers out of my hand and started to scan copies of the paperwork so I quickly told him that I had not made the decision yet about whether I wanted to use a public defender or not I only want to ask questions so he gave back the papers and I left and I knew I would never go back to him because I knew the way he treated me like trash from the time I walked into his office...I was worried about the other people who can't afford a paid lawyer and they go to this white man that has no heart all...I feel so sorry for them...soon as I left the public defenders office I called my parents and I told them that we cant use that man because he is very cold and mean and he does not care about his clients so my family agreed to not use that public defender and just get a paid lawyer that was the best decision we made...because demons don't have feelings...I understand that all public defenders are not like this but this was my first experience and the worst experience...I encourage you to get a paid lawyer or attorney because you can't put your life in the hands of public defenders who don't care because to them it means that your life don't mean anything to them...be bless
